WATERLOO, Iowa – The Northern Illinois women's tennis team did not drop a single set in three-of its singles matches, and cruised to three more victories in doubles play, recording a convincing 7-0 win over South Dakota at the Black Hawk Tennis Club in Waterloo, Iowa Saturday afternoon. The Huskies have now captured four-straight dual match wins.

Sophomore Emily Rogers captured a straight-set win in her first-career match at the top singles flight, highlighting the Northern Illinois women's tennis team's hard-fought dual match win over in-state rival Eastern Illinois on Sunday at the Forest City Tennis Center in Rockford.

Fourth-year Northern Illinois head women's tennis coach Ryun Ferrell added two more players to his 2010-2011 roster, with the official signings of Haley Dekkinga and Ilse Pacheco to national letters of intent. Both players will have four years of eligibility at NIU beginning in the 2010 fall semester.
