DAVIDSON, N. C. – The Northern Illinois men's golf team improved upon yesterday's second round score by 18 strokes in Tuesday afternoon's final round of the Davidson Invitational at the River Run Country Club (Par-72, 7,208 yards), but the Huskies were unable to gain any positions on the competition as NIU finished in 12th place (302-327-309 --- 938, +74).

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Northern Illinois men's golf team completed the first two rounds of the Davidson Invitational on Monday evening at the River Run Country Club (Par-72, 7,208 yards) as the Huskies ended the day in 12th place with a stroke total of 629.

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – The Northern Illinois men's golf team entered the final 18 holes of play at the ORU Shootout, hosted by Oral Roberts, in 10th-place, just a stroke behind Louisiana-Monroe and two behind Centenary. As promised by first-year head coach Tom Porten, the Huskies delivered by moving ahead of ULM and tying Centenary with a final round 314, improving upon their second round score by four strokes at The Golf Club of Oklahoma on Tuesday afternoon.

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – The Northern Illinois men's golf team wrapped up the first two rounds of the ORU Shootout, hosted by Oral Roberts, at The Golf Club of Oklahoma on Monday evening standing in 10th place after 36 holes of play at the par-72, 7,183-yard course.

KINGSLEY, Mich. The Northern Illinois men's golf team wrapped up its weekend at Michigan State's Spartan Classic by posting a 301 in the final 18 holes at The Kingsley Club, which dropped the Huskies one spot from where they entered the day to an eighth-place finish. The Huskies' three-round total score was an 883 as UC-Davis won the 14-team tournament with an 847.
The Northern Illinois men's golf team finished the first day of Michigan State's Spartan Classic in seventh-place out of 14 teams with a score of 582 through 36 holes at The Kingsley Club on Saturday. The Huskies shot a 302 in the morning 18 holes and improved in the afternoon 18 with a score of 280 as they trail leader UC-Davis (557) by 25 strokes.
