DeKALB - The NIU volleyball team (1-0) picked up its 11th season-opening victory under Head Coach Ray Gooden Friday night as the Huskies defeated Presbyterian (0-1) in four sets, 25-8, 25-16, 28-30, 25-13. NIU is 11-1 in season-openers since 2002 under Gooden, last falling in 2007.
