ESPN: Herbstreit unavailable for comment

By now, Northern Illinois fans have all heard about ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit ranting about the Huskies' BCS appearance after it was announced Sunday night.

Wednesday, Shaw Media sports reporter Jeff Arnold gave Herbstreit a chance to respond to the criticism, calling ESPN's office seeing if he would be available for an interview. Arnold was told by an ESPN spokesman that Herbstreit was unavailable.
