DiNunno lands at Eastern Kentucky

Former Northern Illinois guard Mike DiNunno has transferred to Eastern Kentucky, the school announced today.

DiNunno spent the past two years at NIU before deciding to transfer after his sophomore season.

"Mike is a very skilled guard who can score and distribute the ball at this level,” Eastern Kentucky coach Jeff Neubauer said in a news release. “We are looking forward to working with him during his redshirt season and believe he will have a positive impact on EKU basketball.”

DiNunno averaged 7.0 points and 3.0 assists a game as a sophomore. He will sit out the 2010-11 season per NCAA transfer rules. Eastern Kentucky went 20-13 overall and 11-7 in the Ohio Valley Conference last season.
