Another Schepler headed to NIU

Sycamore senior Justine Schepler has verbally committed to play volleyball at Northern Illinois, Sycamore coach Debbie Klock confirmed late Wednesday night.

Schepler, a libero, was on the Daily Chronicle's First Team All-Area and finished her career with 1,025 digs for the Spartans. She was a key component on Sycamore's two-time Class 3A third-place volleyball teams.

"She's incredible," Klock said. "She's hard working. She reads the game really well. She's been playing forever. I think it's a great asset for the area."

Schepler's older brother Jason is a tight end with the NIU football team. Klock said Justine will sign with the Huskies later this month.
