True, Dieckhaus suspended indefinitely

Northern Illinois wrestling coach Dave Grant released a statement on Friday, announcing the indefinite suspensions of NIU wrestlers Mason True and Brad Dieckhaus.

As we reported yesterday, True and Dieckhaus were arrested and charged with assault last weekend in Iowa City, Iowa. This announcement means that True and Dieckhaus will miss this weekend's MAC Championships. True had a record of 11-11 at 174 pounds this season, while Dieckhaus missed the entire season because of injury.

“Based on preliminary reports on the incident that occurred last weekend in Iowa City, Iowa, Mason True and Brad Dieckhaus have been suspended indefinitely from the Northern Illinois University wrestling team.”
