Final: NIU 73, Toledo 69

DeKALB – The Northern Illinois women's basketball team held Toledo without a two-point basket for a stretch of more than 15 minutes in the second half and defeated the Rockets, 73-69, at the Convocation Center on Saturday.

Marke Freeman led the Huskies (10-15, 4-9 MAC West) with 23 points. The Rockets fell to 20-6 overall and 10-3 in the MAC West.
