Halftime: NIU 27, Ball State 25

DeKALB – It hasn't been pretty, but Northern Illinois leads Ball State, 27-25, at half.

Xavier Silas leads the Huskies with 16 points while Ball State is led by Jarrod Jones' 10. The Huskies have utlized a 1-2-2 zone press that has flustered the Cardinals at times on offense. NIU has 13 points off of turnovers.

Since it's a MAC West game, fouls have not been at a premium today. Four players have at least two fouls on the Huskies, including Ante Dzepina's three. Myron Green Jr. has three for Ball State and Pierre Sneed and Malik Perry each have two.
