Halftime: Ohio 40, Northern Illinois 38

DeKALB – What started as the Xavier Silas and D.J. Cooper show has turned into a highly competitive game, as Ohio leads Northern Illinois at halftime, 40-38.

Silas scored NIU's first 15 points and Cooper scored Ohio's first eight. Silas leads all scorers at the half with 19, half of NIU's points. Ohio surged forward with an 18-7 lead and kept a small lead for the rest of the half. Cooper leads the Bobcats with 15 points.
