DeKALB – Down by as many as 16 in the second half, the Northern Illinois women's basketball team rallied for a dramatic 93-88 victory in overtime on Saturday at the Convocation Center.

Marke Freeman led NIU (8-10, 2-4 Mid-American Conference West) with 36 points, including 11 in overtime.

Buffalo falls to 5-14 overall and 1-5 in the MAC East.
