College football is entertaining for fans, but for those involved, it's a job.

That's a theme that has come to the forefront of college football in a variety of ways over the past year. It's time for you to meet some of the "employees" working to win a Mid-American Conference title for Northern Illinois. The photos you'll see in this section are a literal take on that theme and served as the jump-off point for the stories you'll read.

This section is the product of about two months of production, planning, scheduling, reporting, writing, photographing and designing. We would like to thank those who rearranged their schedules to set up and participate in photo shoots and we hope you have as much fun reading it as we did putting it together.
