The "Cram the Convo" basketball doubleheader on Saturday, Jan. 30 has a couple of time changes to accommodate a request from Buffalo, which was forced to change its travel schedule on that day according to Northern Illinois.
The NIU men will play Buffalo at noon and the women will play Kent State at 2:30 p.m at the Convocation Center. The games were originally scheduled to start at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tickets for the upper bowl for those games are still $2.
Also, NIU will distribute student tickets to every week’s home games every Tuesday at DuSable and Barsema halls from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Students still need a valid NIU OneCard.
Finally, this Saturday's NIU women vs. Buffalo game and the Saturday, Feb. 13 NIU men vs. Ball State game have been designated as “Take a Kid to the Game” days. Adults can purchase an upper bowl ticket for just $5 and receive a free youth ticket for that day’s game.
